I.M.: A French silver-gilt rat-tail spoon and fork with notched or trefoil ends, and a knife with modern English blade, engraved with double monogram A B and ducal coronet, possibly for Anne, Duchess of Buccleuch, the spoon bearing date letter probably for 1689 and makers mark IM, the fork unmarked.
