A Sino-Portuguese appliqued damask table and chair cover, first half 18th century, the ivory damask ground woven with European inspired acanthus scrolls and applied with floss silk prunus blossom and other flowers embroidered into paper and ten applied to the satin ground, with couched gold thread and silk branches and tendrils (poor condition), the largest piece 141cm. long (2).
