A rare and extremely fine blue and white bowl, Xuande mark and period, of conical form with six lobed rim, the interior with peach spray medallion encircled by detached sprays of Indian lotus, peony and chrysanthemum, the exterior with six major sprays of various fruits above minor sprays of various flowers, diameter 22.5cm.
