Fine suite of George III painted seat furniture, comprising:- Eight open armchairs and two settees in the Louis XVI style, the chairs with curved and padded oval backs with fluted borders, the padded arms with leaf capped knuckles, on moulded scrolled supports and carved leaves at the junctions to the backs, the bowed upholstered seats above fluted rails, on turned and tapering fluted legs, headed by paterae, the capitols and peg feet carved with leaves and terminating on brass socket and leather wheel castors. The pair of settees with arched padded backs with fluted borders, flying scroll arms with moulded facings headed by paterae to the front, the triple bow seat with fluted borders and raised on eight tapering fluted legs matching the chairs, decorated grey trianon and gilt, width of settees 8ft 6ins.
