Set of eight George III mahogany elbow chairs, the oval backs with moulded and bead borders, carved oval florette medallion to the centre with radiating spokes, united by demilune brackets at the extremity, the moulded elbows on moulded scroll supports, the padded and leather covered serpentine seats raised on turned and fluted legs, carved with leaves at the capitols and extremities, circa 1790 (the brass cup castors are a later addition).
