North Italian tortoiseshell and ebony cabinet on a later rosewood stand, rectangular shape with moulded and panelled top, fitted at the front with two banks of four small drawers, inlaid with pietra dura panels and ripple borders, centred by a colonnaded and mirrored locker enclosed by a pair of doors mounted with ormolu nude male torsos, an architectural drawer above and small drawer below, the stand with moulded and shaped frieze centred by carved flowers, the moulded cabriole legs with similar decoration at the capitols, 39ins wide.
