A Charles II two-handled porringer and cover on circular gadrooned foot, the body set in a calyx of cut-card work and with beaded S-scroll handles, engraved with the arms of Bowes in plume mantling, the reverse with a shipwreck in a circular wreath, the cover with gadrooned rim and three scroll brackets on cut-card rosettes - makers mark only TF a mullet below in heart, struck twice, the cover unmarked, circa 1680 6in. high.
