An early George III mahogany armchair, with plain almost square back, the curved arms and supports carved with cabochons. leaves and beading, the serpentine drop-in seat with shaped seatrail carved at the front with cabochons and leaves on cabriole legs with scroll feet and the front two with cabochon and leaf carving. Bearing a typed label stating it was formerly at Plas Newydd.
