A pair of large ormolu-mounted plated soup-tureens, covers and stands, the bowls with applied leopards flanking vases of fruit with vines above and anthemion below, with bifurcated scroll handles springing from classical masks on four massive paw feet, the covers with stamped formal borders and cone finials, the spreading stands with applied vines and anthemion border on four paw feet, engraved with initial C and Marquess coronet, with detachable silver liners by Robert Garrard, 1806, 15in. diam (2).
