A Chinese black and gilt lacquer cabinet-on-stand, the panelled doors and sides depicting lakeside vistas with pavilions and bridges enclosing on fitted interior with pigeon holes and 13 various sized drawers, with bamboo balustrade and one long drawer beneath, the back painted with 2 bitterns, the Barnardiston family vest, the stand with pierced frieze on cabriole legs headed by Qilin masks and claw and ball feet: 35 1/2in. wide. 66in. high.
