An 18th century English mahogany Chippendale design pedestal pattern upright bookcase, the upper part with adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of glazed doors with ogee-headed astragals to the centre and carved with a rosette in relief at each corner; the lower part enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, also with a rosette at each corner and the whole supported by moulded and dentil cornice - 49in. wide 97in. high.
