A George I walnut bureau-cabinet, the upper part with arched mirror panelled doors enclosing shelves pigeon-holes and small drawers flanking a central cupboard and with two candle slides beneath the doors, the centre with fall-down front forming a secretaire fitted with pigeon-holes, small drawers and a central cupboard and with sliding panel revealing a recess, with two short and two long drawers below on bracket feet, surmounted by a moulded arched cresting surmounted by a foliage pediment (probably of later date) - the borders inlaid with arrow-pattern bands - 42in. wide.
