A George II mahogany armchair, the back with shaped toprail carved with a rosette and scrolling foliage, the pierced and interlaced splat with festoon and tassel top, the scroll arms with acanthus leaf supports and terminating in lions heads, the seatrail carved with gadrooning, the cabriole front legs carved with acanthus foliage and ribbons, terminating in claw and ball feet with a stuffed drop-in seat, circa 1750.
