Queen Anne Silver, circular Bowl (known as the Gledhill Bowl) on circular foot, decorated with embossed fluting, punched feathered and bead motif and scrolled cartouche surround to engraved armorials. Two lion mask scroll handles. London 1706. George III silver embossed fluted Cover with detachable handle engraved armorials and crest. London 1807. Bowl - weight 36 ozs. Cover - weight 26 ozs. All in wood box with letter affirming that the Bowl was presented to Colonel Gledhill by Lord John Churchill (Duke of Marlborough) after the siege of Douny.
