A Greenwich close helmet with one-piece skull rising to a roped comb, pointed fall with two horizontal sights and fitted with a bolt on one side engaging in a recess in the upper bevor and locked by a spring-loaded catch, the upper bevor pierced with circular holes on one side and secured to the cheek-piece by a spring-loaded catch retained by a hook, hinged cheek pieces similarly fastened at the front, studded with rivets, turned and roped at the main borders and cut with double line ornament 9in. high.
