A George II mahogany armchair, the shaped toprail centred by a stylised pagoda and with scrolled corners, the splat covered with scrolls, leaves and flowerheads above a flute and stop-fluted column on a pierced lattice ground with curved uprights carved with lozenges and flowerhead blind fret the outset arms with scrolled handles, with shaped leaf-carved supports to an upholstered seat, raised on cabriole front legs carved with flowers and foliage and with acanthus leaf-carved ear brackets and on dolphins head feet circa 1755.
