A Queen Anne large rectangular inkstand on four stud feet, the border engraved with acanthus foliage, cones and with outer beaded rim, the raised centre with gadrooned rim supporting two ink-vases with palm leaves and strapwork on matted ground with fluted upper parts, and a bell with baluster handle, similarly engraved to the border of the stand, engraved with the Fox coat-of-arms and crest in scrolling foliage cartouches, by Simon Pantin, 1705, 13 1/2in. wide.
