A pair of rectangular Limoges plaques, painted en grisaille each with a nude female figure, one empties a pitcher of water and inscribed 'Nepeis Aequoreas Inter Celeberrma Matees', the other with Cupid at her side and inscribed 'Cupria Lascivi Pulcherrima Mater Amoris', with gilt-metal borders, unsigned, circa 1580, each 7 1/2in. by 3 1/4in.
