A Victorian gilt-brass month going tripod timepiece attributed to Thomas Cole, circa 1856, with 6in. silvered dial signed for Dent, with seconds dial and foliate engraved centre, the two-tier going barrel movement with deadbeat escapement,, the pendulum with roller suspension and silvered spherical bob, the circular stepped plinth engraved with leaves and mounted by a thermometer and Cole's pendulum locking device and raised on adjustable feet, 21ins. high.
