A George II mahogany armchair, the shaped toprail carved with a shell and foliage, the shaped and pierced splat with rocaille decoration and leaves, the scroll arms with finely carved supports and terminating in lions masks, the seatrail carved with ribbon and rosette ornament, the cabriole front legs with festoon and paterae, terminating in paw feet with drop-in seat, circa 1745.
