A glazed frame containing nine blue and white jasper medallions, as follows: (a) In the centre, a pale blue jasper with dipped blue and white jasper oval medallion with lapidary polished sides, of Fame with a Union Jack shield at her feet and a bust of George III on a pillar behind her, inscribed HEALTH IS REST(ord) on a shield in her hand (made for the kings recovery in 1789) within a simple line border on the edge. (Cracked right across in two places and clumsily restored.) 77 mms high. (b-e) Four pale blue jasper with dipped blue and white jasper oval medallions with lapidary polished sides of the four seasons (Horae) within a simple line border on the edge 64 mms high. (f) A dipped blue and white rectangular medallion with rounded ends and lapidary polished sides of Spring beneath a fan-shaped ornament (cracked right across) fs. 83 mms high. (g) A dipped blue and white oval medallion with lapidary polished sides of two figures, one of them helmeted and supporting a spear (representing Fame and the Emperor Joseph II?) in front of two columns supporting a pediment with the Imperial crown, surmounted by a crouching eagle with wings displayed 70 mms high. (h) A pale blue jasper with dipped blue and white jasper round medallion with lapidary polished sides of "The Seller of Cupids" within a simple line border on the edge. 60 mms diam. (i) A pale blue jasper with dipped pale blue and white jasper round medallion with lapidary polished sides of the Three Graces (all draped) within a simple line border on the edge. 60 mms diam. The central medallion is surrounded by a ring of dipped blue and white jasper jewellery pieces, 12 of them round (11 mms diam.) and 12 of them marquise-shaped (18 mms long) attached to the backing of the frame by brass pins through holes in their middles.
