A George III satinwood writing and work table, circa 1795, the moulded top crossbanded in rosewood and centred by a hinged panel, enclosing a writing surface with pen and inkwells and a further silk lined compartment, the interior of the lid with a semi-elipitical panel with the initials E.H.C. beneath a coronet, the square tapered legs on brass castors, 70cm. by 58cm.
