A Louis XIV marquetry side table, attributed to Pierre Gole, circa 1680, the rectangular top elaborately inlaid with an oak-leaf oval containing birds and a butterfly on a floral bouquet surrounded by a ribbon-tied floral swag within a cartouche and with acanthus leaf and wreath spandrels, with a flower-inlaid frieze drawer on square tapering fluted legs, perhaps replaced, ending in bun feet and joined by a marquetry wavy H-stretcher, 78.5cm. high, 100cm. wide.
