Early 18th century Japanese lacquer cabinet on stand, the cabinet with a pair of doors decorated with mountains, pavilions, trees and birds with engraved strap hinges, corner mounts and escutcheons enclosing an interior of 10 drawers decorated in gilt on a tobacco brown ground, the sides with carrying handles and now on Charles II carved giltwood stand with pierced, scrolled and berry-carved frieze with blackamoor caryatid legs with acanthus leaf carved scroll feet, 4ft. 8 1/2in. high by 3ft. 4in. wide.
