A pair of Derby oval baskets, circa 1760 the interiors painted with an owl perched on a bough with other birds in flight within a parkland setting, the pierced trellis borders enamelled with trailing flowers, the exteriors finely moulded with blue florets applied at each intersection, the rope-twist handles picked out in yellow and pink and set with flower terminals, the scalloped rims edged in brown enamel, 29cm.
