A Chelsea figure of a Fisherman's wife, circa 1755 the figure dressed in a white loosely fitted bonnet, white shawl and white apron fastened about a russet skirt and yellow underskirt and a jacket and on her feet a pair of black buckled shoes, on a tray hanging from a black leather strap slung abour her waist, she displays some freshly caught fish, on a rocky base applied with flowers and leaves, 20.5cm. (restored).
