A Wedgwood and Bentley variegated creamware two-handled vase and cover, with Egyptian mask handles to the shoulders, the sides with laurel swags and a medallion of Hercules slaying the Nemaean lion both in cream coloured relief, on a mottled, blue-grey sponged ground, the cover with a seated sibyl (or widow) knob (repaired), on a spreading stem and black basalt plinth. 38.5 cms high.
